Jacob Jarodsky, BFA
Operations Support
Jacob Jarodsky (he/him) was raised in St. Charles, Illinois. His love for the outdoors began at a very young age, nurtured by family camping trips, playing varsity sports and becoming an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. His interest in social service stemmed from youth. Jacob received several humanitarian and service awards for caring for people in hospitals. He was a true Eagle Scout, which remains integral to his personality today.
Jacob pursued a Bachelor of Fine Art degree at Northern Illinois University. He encountered alternative forms of education, and went on to work in experiential and outdoor education programs on Cape Cod in Massachusetts, and Bemidji, Minnesota. From there, Jacob’s passion for helping teens and young adults in crisis grew into a career. Jacob spent many years working in hospitals, substance abuse treatment centers and within the education system. He then worked as a Guide for True North and eventually shifted his focus to operations. Jacob continues to support teens and young adults in his role in operations, providing critical logistical support and resources for success.
During weekends, Jacob can be found hunting or fly fishing in the Green Mountains. He also enjoys spending time with his beloved wife, 2 hound dogs and 2 cats.
