Delaney Patterson, BA
Administrative Assistant
Delaney (she/her/hers) grew up in Massachusetts but has called Vermont home since her college days. Throughout her childhood, Delaney spent many hours hiking, kayaking, camping, and generally appreciating the outdoors with her family and friends. She received her undergraduate degree from Saint Michael’s College, where she graduated summa cum laude in French and Business Administration. Delaney worked as an employment advisor for adults with developmental disabilities in Burlington, VT before joining the True North team.
Delaney has traveled to many countries including France, Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Senegal. She has always enjoyed working with people both abroad and at home. During college, Delaney held many internships, including translating documents for an organization aiding women who were victims of sexual violence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and interning in administration for a camp serving children and families affected by childhood cancer. Delaney has also traveled within the country for service-based work and found herself in Nashville, TN and Selma, AL volunteering with folks in the community to spruce up some buildings, work at soup kitchens, and read to local children. Delaney has always had a people-first attitude and enjoys combining her technical skills with meaningful, people-centric work.
In her free time, Delaney can be found hiking, running, kayaking, rock climbing, skiing (very badly), knitting, painting, and making music. She hopes to run a marathon and successfully ski down a mountain without falling within the next few years.
